About the treatment

Great lip filler is invisible — people notice you look great, not that you had your lips done. Our injectors build volume gradually, respect your natural lip shape and proportions, and would rather see you back for a touch-up than overfill on day one. Every plan is directed by our board-certified dermatologist.

Whether you want subtle hydration and definition or a fuller look, we start with a conversation and a mirror, agree on a plan, and use numbing so the appointment is comfortable. Club members get filler for $679 per syringe (list $799).

How Lip Filler works

Great lip filler is measured in millimeters and restraint. We build shape first, volume second — so your lips look like yours on their best day.

  1. DesignAt a free consultation your injector studies your lip anatomy, proportions, and goals — and tells you honestly whether a lip flip, half syringe, or full syringe fits them.
  2. ComfortStrong topical numbing plus lidocaine in the filler itself. Most guests are surprised how tolerable it is.
  3. ShapeSmall, precise placements build the border and body of the lip evenly. The appointment takes about 30 minutes.
  4. SettleExpect some swelling for 24–48 hours — your true result shows at about two weeks, and we will review it with you.

Why we love it

Your lips, balanced

The goal is shape and symmetry that photographs well from every angle — never the same lip on every face.

Reversible by design

HA lip fillers can be softened or dissolved, so you are never stuck with a look.

From $500 for members

Club members get filler from $679 per syringe, with a B12 shot at every visit.

What to expect

After numbing cream, injection takes 15–20 minutes. Expect swelling for 24–48 hours (lips look their fullest the next morning — don’t panic, it settles) and possible small bruises. Results settle to their true look within about two weeks. Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours and be gentle with the area.

Good to know

  • Hyaluronic-acid filler is reversible — it can be dissolved if you change your mind.
  • Book at least two weeks before big events so swelling fully settles.
  • Club members: filler $679 per syringe, plus 15% off everything.
  • Not recommended during pregnancy or while nursing.

Prep & aftercare

Simple rules, big payoff — here is exactly how to protect your result. You will also get these in writing after your visit.

Before your visit+
  • Plan for possible swelling or bruising for 2–7 days — book at least two weeks ahead of big events.
  • If you bruise easily, you may avoid aspirin, NSAIDs, and blood-thinning supplements for a week beforehand — but never stop a prescribed medication without asking your prescribing physician first.
  • Arnica tablets for 2–3 days before treatment can reduce bruising risk.
  • Tell us about cold sores — we may pre-treat with an antiviral, and we can't inject over open sores.
  • Space dental work, immunizations, or vaccines at least 2 weeks from your filler appointment — call us to adjust timing.
  • Reschedule if you're sick, and tell us in advance about autoimmune conditions or immunosuppressive medication.
  • Filler isn't appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Aftercare, hour by hour+

First 24 hours

  • Tenderness, swelling, bruising, and firmness are normal — Tylenol and ice packs help.
  • Keep products and makeup off the injection sites until the next day, and don't touch them with unwashed hands.
  • Skip strenuous exercise.

First 2 weeks

  • Avoid dental work, immunizations, laser treatments, and other cosmetic procedures.

Call us immediately if

  • You notice white or dusky skin discoloration, unusual bruising, severe pain, itching, blistering, trouble with facial movement, or fever — call our injectables line at (404) 913-1397.

Frequently asked questions

How long does lip filler last?+
Most hyaluronic-acid lip fillers last 6–12 months. The lips are a high-movement area, so filler metabolizes faster there than in other parts of the face.
Will my lips look fake?+
Not the way we do it. We build gradually, respect your natural shape, and stop at “your lips, refreshed.” You approve the plan in the mirror before we inject.
What is the difference between a lip flip and lip filler?+
A lip flip uses a few units of neuromodulator to relax the upper lip so more of it shows — subtle, cheap, lasts ~2–3 months. Filler adds actual volume and definition and lasts 6–12 months. They can also be combined.
Does it hurt?+
We use strong topical numbing, and most HA fillers contain lidocaine. Most guests rate it as very tolerable — pressure and pinches more than pain.
What if I don’t like it?+
Hyaluronic-acid filler is dissolvable with hyaluronidase, so lip filler is not a permanent commitment.

“My all time favorite part was how she injected just a little filler into my lips which created a much more shapely upper lip. If you are looking for a gentle, yet highly effective dermatologist, make an appointment with Dr. Wilson!”

The Dermatology Difference

Physician medical direction

Every protocol operates under the medical direction of a board-certified dermatologist — not a franchise playbook.

Inside a dermatology practice

Our studios live inside real dermatology offices, with Mohs surgery and a dermatopathology lab behind the same walls.

Medical screening first

Health history and skin assessment before any treatment — and a Visia analysis so recommendations start from data.

A physician in the building

If anything ever needs a doctor’s eye, one is down the hall — not on a phone line.
