Laser hair removal at Peachtree City Dermatology
Our Peachtree City studio opened in April 2025 inside Peachtree City Dermatology, so your laser sessions happen in the building where the practice’s dermatologists see patients. The laser, its settings, and the person holding the handpiece all matter, especially across different skin tones. That is why licensed laser practitioners perform every session here, with protocols set under the medical direction of Sarah Wilson, MD, board-certified dermatologist, and every guest gets medical-grade screening before any laser treatment.
Getting to Wilshire Pavilion, by car or by cart
The studio is at 112 Wilshire Village Drive, Peachtree City, GA 30269, in Wilshire Pavilion on the corner of Highway 74 and Rockaway Road, a few minutes from Starr’s Mill. Car parking is free at the door, and there is cart parking out front if you come by golf cart. Check in at the Peachtree City Dermatology desk and mention Carroll Cosmetic Club. Every skin tone, screened first
Laser hair removal targets the pigment in the hair follicle, so hair color, skin tone, and recent sun all change how a session is set up. We choose equipment and settings for safety across skin tones, and your practitioner assesses your hair and skin at a free consultation before the first pulse. Results vary with hair color and thickness, and the consultation confirms whether you are a good candidate. Tell us about photosensitizing medications such as isotretinoin, a history of keloids, cold sores near the treatment area, or any active skin issue there.

Here is what to expect from a laser hair removal series in Peachtree City.
- Plan the areasAt your free consultation we map the areas you want treated and plan a series, usually 6–8 sessions spaced 4–8 weeks apart.
- Get the skin readyTwo weeks of no sun, self-tanner, or spray tans on the area; four weeks without waxing, tweezing, or threading; and a fresh shave 24 hours before each visit.
- A quick sessionSmall areas take about 15 minutes and legs about half an hour. You feel brief snaps of heat, integrated cooling keeps it comfortable, and most guests find it very tolerable.
- Finer, sparser hairTreated hairs shed over one to three weeks, and each session catches more follicles in their growth phase, so hair returns finer and sparser each time.
Aftercare, sun, and summer
A mild sunburn feeling and some redness around the follicles are normal after a session and usually settle within hours; a cold compress wrapped in cloth helps. For a day or two, skip hot showers, saunas, hot tubs, and heavy exercise, and keep deodorant, makeup, and fragranced products off the area. Tanned skin raises the risk of burns, so keep treated areas out of the sun between sessions and use SPF 30+ when exposure is unavoidable. Laser hair removal is not performed during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Individual results vary.
