Our Newnan studio shares Suite 205 with Newnan Dermatology, so laser hair removal happens inside a dermatology office rather than a storefront. Licensed laser practitioners perform each session, protocols are set under the medical direction of Sarah Wilson, MD, board-certified dermatologist, and every guest gets medical-grade screening before any laser treatment. If a spot or a rash in the treatment area needs a dermatologist’s opinion, one is in the same suite.
Getting to Ashley Park
The studio is at 354 Newnan Crossing Bypass, Suite 205, Newnan, GA 30265, in The Offices of Ashley Park, where Bullsboro Drive (Highway 34) meets I-85. Park in the main Ashley Park lot, take the stairs or the elevator one level up to Suite 205, and check in with the Newnan Dermatology front desk; mention Carroll Cosmetic Club. Fitting sessions into your week
Small areas such as the upper lip, chin, or underarms take about 15 minutes, and larger areas such as the legs about half an hour, so a session fits into a lunch hour. Sessions are spaced 4–8 weeks apart to follow your hair’s growth cycle, and most areas need 6–8 sessions in all. Booking your next session before you leave keeps the series on schedule.
How laser hair removal works in Newnan
The laser targets the pigment in the hair follicle during its growth phase, which is why a series timed to your hair cycle is what works. Most series follow these steps.
- Free consultationYour practitioner confirms that your hair and skin respond well to the laser, maps the areas you want treated, and plans the series.
- Before each sessionShave the area 24 hours before, and arrive with clean, dry skin: no lotion, deodorant, or makeup on the area. Pause retinols, AHAs, BHAs, and benzoyl peroxide there for three days.
- The sessionBrief snaps of heat come with each pulse, and integrated cooling keeps treatment quick. Most guests find it very tolerable.
- SheddingOver one to three weeks the treated hairs release and shed. It can look like growth, but that is the follicles letting go, and hair returns finer and sparser after each visit.
Aftercare between sessions
Right after a session the skin may feel like a mild sunburn, with redness and slight swelling around the follicles that usually settles within hours. For the next 24–48 hours, stick to lukewarm showers, skip heavy exercise, saunas, and hot tubs, and keep makeup, deodorant, and fragranced products off the area until it calms down. Protect the area from the sun for a week or two, and shave rather than wax or tweeze between sessions. Laser hair removal is not performed during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Individual results vary.

The Club is $99 a month with a 12-month commitment. Your $99 a month is credited to your account for treatments and products, so it is not an extra fee, and a Newnan membership also works in Carrollton and Peachtree City. Active Club members receive complimentary touch-ups.
