How it works...
We lose volume in our face due to the loss of natural collagen in our skin. Gravity also plays a part in our diminished facial structure too. You’ve probably heard of hyaluronic acid since it’s the featured ingredient in many moisturizers. It also occurs naturally in skin. Dermal fillers use a soft, gel-like form of this same acid to give shape and structure back to the face. They help restore volume, give lips and cheeks a fuller look, and help smooth the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
Why we love it…
Since hyaluronic acid is a molecule that already occurs naturally in the skin, its soft gel-like form used in our dermal fillers makes it easy to create natural-looking results. It’s found in many moisturizers because it acts as a humectant to pull water into the skin to aid in its hydration. It’s safe and minimally invasive with little downtime.

Your skin should be clean for treatment so we can properly assess your skin and determine where to make injections. If you wear makeup to your appointment, we’ll remove it before your service. Post treatment, we also don't advise reapplying makeup immediately following, as you should avoid touching your face as much as possible for the next 24 hours.

After your treatment: No lying down for 4 hours; no exercise/working out for 24 hours; no facials for 2 weeks. Try not to touch the area excessively for the first 24 hours, except to apply arnica gel. And you may want to avoid salty foods and alcoholic beverages as they can contribute to swelling.

You'll start to see results almost immediately, and can expect to see full results in about 2 weeks.

Everyone's different, but typically results last anywhere from 6-18 months. It really depends on the filler we use and your aesthetic goals.

One of the things that makes dermal fillers so great is there's little downtime. There's no reason you can't go back to work afterwards, although keep in mind that you may experience some redness, swelling or bruising.

We use a topical anesthetic before making injections to help minimize any discomfort during the treatment. We also use an icepak before and after. You can also take Tylenol before and after to help reduce any pain. You may experience bruising and swelling, which can take 1-2 weeks to go away. Therefore, we don't recommend scheduling your appointment right before a big event.

We recommend avoiding dermal filler treatments during pregnancy or while nursing.

Pre-Treatment
1 week before
If you bruise easily, avoid aspirin, NSAIDs, and blood thinners — do not stop prescribed medications without consulting your physician
2–3 days before
Arnica tablets may help reduce bruising risk
Disclose
Cold sore / HSV history, autoimmune disorders, immunosuppressants, active infection, illness, or flu
Reschedule if
Dental work or immunizations within 2 weeks (before or after), COVID vaccine within past 2 weeks, active open sores on appointment day
Not a candidate if
Pregnant, breastfeeding, or allergic to hyaluronidase or filler ingredients
During Treatment
Expect
Filler injected into targeted areas via needle or cannula
Normal side effects
Swelling, bruising, tenderness, and firmness — typically resolves in 2–7 days. Results may vary each session.
Immediately after
Tylenol and ice packs for discomfort — no products on injection sites until the following day
Post Treatment
First 24 hrs
No makeup, moisturizer, or products on injection sites. Avoid touching with unclean hands. No strenuous exercise.
First 2 weeks
No dental work, immunizations, laser treatments, or cosmetic procedures
