About the treatment

Our laser targets the pigment in the hair follicle, disabling growth at the root while leaving surrounding skin untouched. Because hair grows in cycles, a series of 6–8 sessions spaced 4–8 weeks apart catches each follicle in its active phase.

Treatments are performed by licensed, laser-certified aestheticians under dermatologist medical direction — on equipment chosen for safety across skin tones.

How Laser Hair Removal works

Our laser targets the pigment in the hair follicle, disabling it during its growth phase — which is why a series, timed to your hair cycle, is what actually works.

  1. Consult & planA free consultation confirms your hair and skin type respond well and maps a series plan — most areas need 6–8 sessions, 4–8 weeks apart.
  2. TreatYou shave the area 24 hours before; the laser passes over the skin with integrated cooling. Small areas take minutes, legs about half an hour.
  3. ShedOver 1–3 weeks the treated hairs release and shed — it can look like growth, but it is the follicles letting go.
  4. RepeatEach session catches follicles entering their growth phase. Hair returns finer and sparser with every visit.

Why we love it

The math beats razors

A 5-session package costs less than years of razors, wax appointments, and ingrown-hair repair — and members save more.

Comfort-first technology

Integrated cooling keeps treatment quick and tolerable — guests routinely book it on a lunch break.

Every skin type

Our platform treats safely across skin tones — your consult confirms the right settings for you.

What to expect

Sessions are quick — small areas take about 15 minutes. You will feel brief snaps of heat with each pulse; most guests find it very tolerable. Skin may look lightly flushed for a few hours. No downtime, though you will avoid sun exposure and self-tanner around treatments.

Good to know

  • Packages of 5 sessions cut the per-session price by more than half — and include unlimited touch-ups.
  • Shaving is fine between sessions; skip waxing and plucking.
  • Club members receive free touch-ups while their membership is active.
  • Results vary with hair color and thickness; a consult confirms you are a good candidate.

Prep & aftercare

Simple rules, big payoff — here is exactly how to protect your result. You will also get these in writing after your visit.

Before your visit+
  • Strictly avoid sun, self-tanner, and spray tans for 2 weeks before treatment — tanned skin raises the risk of burns.
  • Shave the area 24 hours before your visit. No waxing, tweezing, threading, or depilatories for 4 weeks — the follicle must be intact for the laser to work.
  • Arrive with clean, dry skin: no lotion, deodorant, or makeup on the treatment area.
  • Pause retinols, AHAs/BHAs, and benzoyl peroxide on the area for 3 days beforehand.
  • Tell us about cold sores (if treating near the mouth), photosensitizing medications like isotretinoin, keloid history, or any active skin issues in the area.
  • Laser hair removal isn't performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Aftercare, hour by hour+

Right after

  • A mild-sunburn feeling with redness and slight swelling around follicles is normal and usually settles within hours. A cloth-wrapped cold compress helps.

First 24–48 hours

  • Lukewarm water only — no hot showers, saunas, or hot tubs.
  • Skip heavy exercise and anything that causes serious sweating.
  • Keep makeup, deodorant, and fragranced products off the area until sensitivity resolves.

First 1–2 weeks

  • Protect the area from sun — SPF 30+ if exposure is unavoidable.
  • Treated hairs will appear to grow, then shed, over 1–3 weeks — that's the follicles releasing. Shave if needed, but don't wax or tweeze between sessions.
  • Hold chemical exfoliants until the skin has fully settled.

Call us if

  • Blistering, significant swelling, or burn-like marks persist past 48 hours, or you see signs of infection — call (770) 838-9274.

Frequently asked questions

How many sessions will I need?+
Hair grows in cycles, so plan on a series of 6–8 sessions spaced 4–8 weeks apart to catch each follicle in its active phase. Club members get free touch-ups while their membership is active.
Does laser hair removal hurt?+
You will feel brief snaps of heat with each pulse; most guests find it very tolerable and sessions on small areas take about 15 minutes.
Is it safe for my skin tone?+
We choose equipment and settings for safety across skin tones, and every protocol operates under the medical direction of a board-certified dermatologist. Your practitioner will assess your hair and skin at a free consultation.
How should I prepare?+
Shave the area within 24 hours of your session, and avoid waxing, plucking, sun exposure, and self-tanner in the weeks before and during your series.
Is it permanent?+
Laser treatment produces long-lasting hair reduction — many follicles stop producing hair — but hormones and new growth can require occasional touch-ups, which are free for active Club members.

The Dermatology Difference

Physician medical direction

Every protocol operates under the medical direction of a board-certified dermatologist — not a franchise playbook.

Inside a dermatology practice

Our studios live inside real dermatology offices, with Mohs surgery and a dermatopathology lab behind the same walls.

Medical screening first

Health history and skin assessment before any treatment — and a Visia analysis so recommendations start from data.

A physician in the building

If anything ever needs a doctor’s eye, one is down the hall — not on a phone line.
