About the treatment

Our peels are dermatology-grade formulations — including the VI Peel and blends built on TCA, retinoic, salicylic, and vitamin C — chosen for your skin type and concern, not off a spa menu. Medium-depth peels reach the layers where pigment and sun damage live.

Expect real change: brighter tone, softer texture, faded dark spots, and clearer skin over the following weeks.

How a Peel works

A medical-grade peel dissolves the bonds holding dull, damaged surface cells in place — on a controlled schedule your provider chooses, not chance.

  1. MatchYour free consultation matches peel depth and formula to your skin type, concerns, and calendar — not every peel suits every week.
  2. ApplyThe peel is applied in measured layers over about 30 minutes. Expect warmth and tingling, not pain.
  3. PeelVisible flaking typically runs days 3–5. Hands off — picking is the one way to hurt a peel result.
  4. RevealFresh, evenly toned skin underneath — and a series builds results deeper than any single peel.

Why we love it

Proven chemistry

Peels are among the oldest, best-understood treatments in dermatology — predictable, effective, and quick.

Melasma & stubborn pigment

For hormonal and heat-sensitive pigment where lasers need caution, the right peel is often the smarter play.

Bang for the buck

One of the most affordable ways to visibly reset tone and texture — members save 15%.

What to expect

Application takes minutes with a warm, tingling sensation. Days 1–2 your skin looks tan and tight; days 3–7 it peels — plan around it. What emerges is noticeably fresher. Strict SPF while you heal protects the investment.

Good to know

  • Timing matters: schedule 1–2 weeks before events, not days.
  • Series deliver compounding results for melasma and acne.
  • Your provider will prep darker skin tones properly to peel safely.
  • Club members save 15% on treatments.

Prep & aftercare

Simple rules, big payoff — here is exactly how to protect your result. You will also get these in writing after your visit.

Before your visit+
  • No waxing, depilatories, electrolysis, or laser hair removal on the area for the week before.
  • Pause retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, and exfoliating products for 3 days beforehand.
  • Tell your provider about any history of cold sores.
  • Arrive with clean skin — no makeup or products.
Aftercare, hour by hour+

Right after

  • Redness and a sunburn feeling can build over the first 24 hours — normal.

First 24 hours

  • No cleansers, moisturizers, or SPF; cool compresses for comfort.

After 24 hours

  • Gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and SPF are back on the menu.

While peeling (days 3–5)

  • Let skin shed on its own — no picking or peeling by hand.
  • Avoid sun, hot water, sweating, and exfoliants until healing completes, typically 5–7 days.

Frequently asked questions

Which peel will I get?+
We match the peel to your skin and goals at a free consultation — from gentle refresher peels to the VI Peel® for pigment, acne, and texture.
How much will I actually peel?+
It varies by peel depth and by person: anywhere from light flaking to several days of visible peeling, typically days 2–5. Your provider will tell you exactly what to expect.
How often can I get a peel?+
Lighter peels can be repeated every 4–6 weeks; deeper peels are typically done in a short series and then maintained a few times a year.

The Dermatology Difference

Physician medical direction

Every protocol operates under the medical direction of a board-certified dermatologist — not a franchise playbook.

Inside a dermatology practice

Our studios live inside real dermatology offices, with Mohs surgery and a dermatopathology lab behind the same walls.

Medical screening first

Health history and skin assessment before any treatment — and a Visia analysis so recommendations start from data.

A physician in the building

If anything ever needs a doctor’s eye, one is down the hall — not on a phone line.
